What to Expect
At your first appointment with Lake Murray Hearing, we’ll want to get to know you a little and discuss your hearing concerns. Our staff will take time to learn how your hearing loss has been affecting your life, including relationships with your family and friends as well as how it may be impacting your employment. We’ll want to know how long you’ve been experiencing hearing loss, whether it was sudden or gradual, and when and where you most often experience it.
At Lake Murray Hearing, we believe all your concerns are important, and we don’t want to overlook anything. Our well-trained professionals who have years of experience will want to discuss all your concerns. After that, we’ll conduct a series of thorough hearing tests and examinations, and then provide an evaluation, which we’ll review with you. In some cases, your hearing loss may simply be due to ear wax, and we can provide thorough ear cleanings.
If we determine you may have substantial enough hearing loss, we may recommend hearing aids and can show you our wide array of products and accessories. Depending on the extent of your hearing loss, we may recommend a particular hearing aid.
